Chasen- Bamboo Matcha Whisk

A bamboo whisk used to whip matcha into a smooth, frothy texture without clumps, either with water for a traditional preparation or as a prep step before adding milk.

Only dip the prongs in water when whisking, not the entire chasen. Don't let it sit in water for more than a minute, prolonged soaking damages the bamboo. Rinse quickly after use and dry face-down on a stand.
