Our OG Matcha is Single-origin Yabukita cultivar from Kagoshima, Japan. We source a first and second flush blend, shade-grown, micro-milled, and imported directly under our own license. No additives, no fillers, no shortcuts. What's on the label is what's in the bag.

Most matcha on shelves is a blend of whatever's cheapest. Ours is one cultivar, one region, imported in small batches. The difference shows up the moment you make it.

Matcha contains 21.5mg of caffeine per gram and hojicha contains 11.8mg per gram, based on our lab tests. Caffeine levels in tea are natural and can vary batch to batch, but these are consistent with what you'd expect, hojicha comes in lower because the roasting process breaks down most of it
