I decided to try this product to take advantage of the many health benefits of matcha, such as the high antioxidant content and the calm, focused energy it provides.

I will be completely honest, due to prior experiences with substandard matcha, I was fully expecting this to taste like sawdust. I was so pleasantly surprised when I took my first sip because it tasted quite good. The matcha powder is dark green in colour, incredibly fine in texture, and it readily dissolves even in cold oat milk, which makes preparation very easy.

My favorite way to prepare it is just mixing the matcha in oat milk with a little honey and ice. The closest description of the taste I can think of is that it tastes exactly like Marie biscuits dipped in chai, just a 50% milder version of that flavor. It is a really comforting and delicious drink.

You can prepare around 15 glasses of matcha from this 30g packet (2g per serving).

While I wouldn't call it a value buy, it is priced decently, in line with the quality of the product.

I am very happy with this product for its authenticity and taste. Highly recommend giving this one a try!

The matcha has a lovely green color and blenda quiet well when whisked properly. I specially liked that it didn't have an overly bitter or grassy taste, which can sometimes happen with matcha.

The flavour is mild and pleasant making it a good option if you are new to matcha or prefer a smoother, less intense taste. The aroma is also quiet nice and gives the latte that authentic matcha feel.

Overall i am happy with my first experience with this brand. Its easy to prepare, taste good in an iced latte, and makes for a refreshing drink at home with health benefits. I'll definitely be trying it in other matcha recipes as well. Good option for everyday matcha lovers.

I got this 30g pack of Kagoshima matcha to make iced lattes at home, and the quality is noticeably better than a lot of the dull, brownish culinary-grade powders sold online.

When you tear open the pouch, the powder is a proper vibrant green, which is usually the first sign of fresh Japanese matcha. I mix a teaspoon with a bit of warm water using a electric milk frother, and it dissolves quickly without leaving gritty clumps at the bottom of the cup.

Taste-wise, it's quite smooth. It has that subtle earthy flavor you expect from Yabukita cultivar tea, but without that harsh, overly bitter aftertaste that makes you want to dump in a cup of sugar. It holds up really well mixed into cold oat milk or whole milk over ice.

The resealable pouch seals tight enough to keep air out so it doesn't oxidize fast, though pushing all the air out before zipping it up helps keep the green color fresh. At Rs. 479 for 30g, you get roughly 15 to 20 servings out of it, which works out to a fraction of what cafes charge for a single iced matcha. Definitely a solid pick if you make your own drinks daily.

Honestly I wasn't expecting much when I first tried Genie Super Matcha but wow, I was so wrong. I've been making iced matcha at home for a while now and the difference in quality is actually insane. You can tell the ingredients are legit — the color is this deep vibrant green and it dissolves so smoothly, no clumps or that weird bitter aftertaste you get with cheaper brands.
The taste is just really clean and fresh. My iced matcha actually tastes like something you'd pay $8 for at a café. My friend put me on to this and I'm genuinely grateful because I don't think I can go back to anything else now lol.
